Job Description

The University of Advancing Technology is currently recruting for a Web Administrator. The Web Administrator is responsible for ensuring all digital media for the University is maintained in a consistent and timely manner. Regular updates to web content and related imagery will be required. The Web Administrator will need to be able to take direction from multiple sources and inputs and balance workload accordingly. The University of Advancing Technology (UAT) is a private college for techno-geeks. UAT's mission is to educate students in the fields of advancing technology to become innovators of the future. Our campus culture is devoted to continually nurturing a community of techno-geeks, namely our students, faculty and staff, whose personal and professional lives revolve around technology. At our unique, technology-infused, urban campus located in Tempe, Arizona that includes a residential 250-bed dormitory, we have created a home for twelve hundred students that feel disenfranchised by ordinary institutions of higher learning. Duties: • Design and develop internal and external web pages • Perform creative, content-forming web page development functions • Convert and purpose documents from native state to other complex programming languages • Coordinate the collection of information to make necessary updates/changes to the websites • Keep current on industry standards while maintaining institutional best practices • Leverage skills and expertise in CRM and CMS systems Skills/ Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field required • 3-5 years experience in web design and programming • Proficiencies in HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Adobe CS5, FPHP, Expression Engine, Responsive web design, Ajax, XML, Json, .Net – Visual Basic, Team Foundation Server, and API’s • Ability to multi-task and make rapid shifts in priorities • Background in media communications and working knowledge in web-based technology preferred Schedule: M-F 9am to 6pm
