Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION Warner Bros. ADS offers exciting opportunities engaging with groundbreaking technologies in the areas of application development, digital distribution, media applications, and eCommerce solutions. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating and driving all aspects of technical projects including creating project plans, tracking project tasks and communicating project status to ADS management and clients. The Technical Project Manager is also responsible for the creation of project documentation including proposals, functional requirements, use cases, test plans, deployment plans, etc. Additionally the Technical Project Manager must add value ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of all projects under his/her leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES Manages technology projects from inception to delivery creating detailed budgets and schedules, providing timely and clear status updates to ADS management and clients. Manages resources for on-time and on-budget delivery. Responsible for writing Business Requirements, Proposals, Functional Requirements, User Stories, Release Plans, Use Cases, Wireframes, Project Plans, Status Reports, Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes. Ensures that all documents are maintained updated throughout the project. Participates in analysis sessions with technical resources and client and document the requirements for projects. Manages bugs, tasks and feature requests in the Jira and Project Plans and timesheet tracking in Project Server Develops strong technical understanding of various platforms for technical projects. Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. Facilitates regular meeting with project team and clients keeping everyone well informed of changes regarding project status, and communicates relevant project information to superiors. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Manages project budgets by determining appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring receivables for project. Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. Forecasts revenue, bill rates and utilization. Manages the change order process. Performs other duties as assigned. CRITERIA Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/engineering preferred or Bachelor's + web/mobile project experience. ScrumMaster Certified or equivalent experience preferred. Microsoft Project training or equivalent experience preferred. PMP Certification or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 4+ years experience in digital media, application and web development projects, including at least 4+ years managing technology or software development projects. Must have past experience in the digital media or web technology areas. Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Must be action and results-oriented, and able to expand and apply technical knowledge. Creative problem-solver who works well both independently and as part of a team; able to foster and develop others' ideas as well as his/her own. Must be a "self-starter" as well as work in a group project environment. Must be able to organize, prioritize and schedule a high workload, efficiently. Detail oriented and able to coordinate work streams for on-time, on-budget delivery while ensuring project details are accounted for and acted upon. Able to provide excellent verbal and written communication between customer, manager and project team members in a matrix-managed environment. Able to work within deadlines, ensuring both timely, cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction. Effective meeting facilitation and presentation skills. Must have strong technical documentation skills (including writing Proposals, Functional Requirements and Use Cases). Understanding the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance) is required.
