| The B Line Solutions is looking for Sr Citrix XenDesktop person for a 1 month assignment in Erie PA Target start 41 Senior Citrix XenDesktop SME Perform an analysis of the Citrix XenDesktop environment to determine capability and compatibility with the future target state Discovery and validation activities will include bull Hardware Discovery o Gather performance metrics o Review current vSphere Virtual Infrastructure standards o Identify hardware dependencies bull XenApp and Environment Discovery o Gather AD infrastructure information o Identify XenApp Server configuration (language settings environment configuration GPO etc) o Identify remote access configuration o Identify installed applications and associated application settings o Identify backend dependencies o Identify printing bull Profile Management o Identify user profile configuration (GPO logon scripts AppSense etc) o Identify profile dependencies o Identify Roaming Profile configuration o Identify management tools used (scripts consoles and external processes) o Supporting infrastructure such as Domain Controllers and File Servers bull Citrix XenApp Infrastructure o Identify Citrix services and configuration currently in use o Identify user application entitlements o Identify Citrix licenses o Identify Citrix policies o Identify printing o Identify remote access configuration (ie twofactor authentication) o Validate given list of applications o Identify DRBC process for the Citrix infrastructure bull Citrix XenDesktop User Qualifications o Identify current user performance requirements and gather expectations o Qualify users into appropriate groups Task Knowledge Specialized o Determine requirements for each qualified user group bull Current NetScaler Services o Discover NetScaler Configuration (both relevant and nonrelevant to XenApp and XenDesktop) o Discover relevant networking (IP Routing DNS Etc) configuration and topology o Discover Citrix policies o Discover expected XenAppXenDesktop integration points bull User Experience Factors o Identify user endpoint hardware and peripherals o Discover printing o Identify user access method (web interface client software type etc) o Discover DRBC strategy and alignment o Discover profile management futurestate requirements o Discover printing futurestate requirements |
