| The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced SQL DBA to fill a permanent role with one of our clients in Norcross. The company is an ever expanding mid-sized Atlanta-based company that offers a high energy environment that promotes innovation, teamwork, and creative thinking. Administer the databases that make up the production, development, and QA environments Be responsibile for installation, backup/recovery, patching, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and SQL development. Oversee and drive database related projects Oversees environment management, database health (monitoring, proactive and reactive responses), resource planning, database upgrade, backup and recovery strategy, planning and implementation Required Skills and Experience: 5 years of experience in support of MS SQL Server environments 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving data integrity issues, performance issues, connectivity issues, etc. Ability to write/troubleshoot T-SQL code including stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers and also create or modify tables, indexes, constraints Experience in SQL Server replication, backup, and recovery techniques. Experience with MS SQL Server, log shipping, SSIS configuration and deployment options. Ability and willingness to serve multiple functions and "wear many hats," be able to work in a fast paced, high energy environment, and work both independently as well as in a team effectively |
