| Founded in 1984, I-Cubed is a global technology consulting firm specializing in lifecycle management, web content management and managed services. I-Cubed is currently seeking a strong Java developer who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Product LifeCycle Management (PLM) Team. The Java developer will be involved in all phases of projects, from analysis of client’s needs to implementation on the PLM solutions. The developer will be dealing with large, high profile clients in the automotive and manufacturing industry and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client’s complex needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge. PLM specific training is provided RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Actively participating in all stages of the implementation project from development through testing and implementation Installing and configuring PLM solutions. Developing relationships with the clients and supporting them during the project lifecycle. Meeting with and utilizing team mates expertise to maximize project efficiency Documenting methods and lessons learned Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to travel extensively, 75-100% Degree in Computer Science or equivalent skill set Experience with Java programming Professional experience in software implementation preferred In Depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferred Previous experience in PLM and/or PDM systems preferred Knowledge in CAD products preferred Experience with operating systems such as Unix and/or Windows and databases (Oracle, SQL Server), is a plus |
