| We have an excellent and immediate opportunity for a senior level programmer to join a small and thriving financial services company located in the Chicago Loop Join our IT team to participate in all aspects of technology including delivery of enterprisewide solutions technical design and support of our proprietary software application Candidates should have strong programming skills and handson experience with complex web application development Duties Responsible for design and development of business solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the company Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements Able to produce quality code in a timely manner working in a team environment Identify troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environment Able to provide concise updates to stakeholders and development team Requirements BS in computer sciencetechnical field (will consider experience for degree) 3+ yrs experience developing web applications using ASPNET jquery and other javascript frameworks 34 years experience using NET Framework (C or VBNET) and SQL Server 5+ years of Web application development design and testing in a projectdriven environment Solid understanding of application lifecycle and development methodologies Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies Working knowledge of computer hardware systems a plus Understanding of general business practices preference to candidates with experience in financial services or insurance Industry certifications desirable We offer a business casual environment in a central Loop location convenient to CTA and METRA Generous PTO policy and 11 annual paid holidays Other benefits include choice of three Medical plans two Dental plans Life Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Long Term Care Insurance 401(k) with match as well as a Defined Benefit plan pretax transportation deduction Flex Spending Account and a Vision Plan Send resume and salary requirements |
