| Data Power Administrator Duration ndash Long Term ndash 1 yr minimum Location ndash Franklin Lakes NJ Participates in the implementation administration and architectural design strategies in a complex large scale middleware infrastructure with primary focus on WebSphere DataPower Level Expectations bull Possess indepth knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role bull Functions in complex environments with minimal direction bull Solid individual performance while partnering with others bull Works well through selfdirected effort bull Shares knowledge in area of expertise bull May serve as technical lead in area of expertise bull May provide technical assistance to resolve operating issues Essential Functions bull Planning Testing Installation Tuning and general administration of WebSphere DataPower XI50 and XI52 devices bull Day to day administration and troubleshooting of a complex distributed computing environment bull Perform Firmware upgrades on regularly scheduled basis bull Creation and configuration of domains and adding users to RBM bull Shell scripting and DataPower CLISOMA scripting to automate tasks bull Collaboration with other teams in the planning architecture and implementation of new applications standards and processes bull Manage PMRs with IBM and closely work with development teams to resolve issues with Services Domains MPGs XML FWs etc bull Participates in continuous assessment process to ensure that systems are achieving contractual metrics and IT objectives bull Participates in the Architecture assessment and communications for system retirements and migrations to new platforms Qualifications bull 5 or more years experience in installation configuration and administration of WebSphere DataPower XI50XI52 devices bull Proficiency in installing integrating tuning patching and troubleshooting of WebSphere DataPower bull Proficiency in using the problem determination tools logs and probes provided with the DataPower appliance bull Proficient in using performance tools such as Wily Introscope bull Proficient in the administration of Apache based web servers such as IBM HTTP Server or SpringSource ERS bull Proficient knowledge of SOA Web Services SOAP WSDL WS Security XML XSLT and UDDI bull Working knowledge and understanding of NetworkingRouting concepts firewalls F5 load balancers MQ bull Experience on AIX andor Red Hat Linux bull Experience on other Web Application and Middleware technologies is a PLUS Such as WebSphere Application Server Tomcat Oracle Application Server PEGA Cognos BroadVision bull Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions bull Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines bull Demonstrated ability to maintain solid collaborative working relationship between IT Organizations bull Demonstrated ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization bull Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines |
