| We are changing the way people explore and gain insight from big data Making sense of data requires a solution which incorporates both a new generation frontend application that is easytouse but at the same time it must provide robust ways to gain insight from big data including a backend for big data management and processing As the lead web developer you will be part of the team creating the clientside application code that will provide our customers with a worldclass user experience Youll be utilizing current browser technologies and utilizing data visualizing frameworks like D3 Responsibilities Work closely with the UX and backend engineers to implement stateoftheart frontend solutions in the big data industry Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team Launch iterate and make a difference Provide frontend coding expertise Requirements 35+ years of experience Handson experience building complex web applications Expert understanding of web technologies (objectoriented JavaScript HTML CSS) and experience with the latest and greatest web standards including HTML5 and CSS3 Experience with key languages such as Ruby Java Python PHP etc Experience with Ruby on Rails or other similar frameworks Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience |
