| Senior PeopleSoft Administration Engineer General Summary: Participate in and lead discussions regarding PeopleSoft patching and upgrades for both Financials and HR. Responsible for monitoring and overall health of the installations within CEC. Design and build test and production environments for these environments while maintaining proper documentation. Foster positive working relationships by maintaining an environment of professionalism and open communication with peers as well as our business partners. Organize and Lead projects and initiatives with team(s) of indirect reports. Responsibilities: Install and configure PeopleSoft Financials and HR software in a Windows Server Platform. Troubleshoot processes uses by the PeopleSoft systems Monitor the performance and report on these monthly or as required Design & implement test and development environments Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver status and project level presentations to business sponsors. Participation in “on-call” service rotation Upgrade software components and participate in hardware design Provide internal customers with technical support Provide cross training to peers in order to maintain a 3 person support structure Provide input into virtualization or the environment as feasible Provide proof concept, project documentation and lead/manage projects as needed in the area of PeopleSoft. Education: Bachelors Degree preferred Skills and Abilities: 6+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Administration Must be proficient in the following areas: PeopleSoft PeopleTools and Application Installations, PeopleTools and Application Upgrades, Integration Broker, Environment Creation, Database Refreshes, Change Management, Migration of Objects, Performance Tuning , STAT administration and Production Support. Qualifications: Must have at least 4 years of experience with PeopleSoft Migrations Must have at least 4 years of experience with PeopleTools 8.x/9.x Administration Must have a working knowledge of PeopleSoft Architecture (Application, Web Server, Process Scheduler) Must have at least 4 years of experience working in windows 2003/2008 R2. Must have experience migrating PeopleSoft objects from one environment to another. Must have at least 4 years’ experience in SQL server 2005/2008. Experience in STAT 5.6 administration. |
