| Goldfarb Properties is a leading New York Area Real Estate Company Our firm is privately owned and has been in business for over 50 years To learn more about our company and our portfolio please visit our web site WWWGoldfarbPropertiesCom httpwwwgoldfarbpropertiescom 1) Description Application Support Engineer is a member of the IT Team reporting to the CTO Responsibilities include user software and hardware support user documentation and training relating to core software systems used by Goldfarb Properties with a commitment to quality and premier service 2) Requirements a) Applications Provide frontend user and data support to primary enterprise business application (Yardi Voyager) i) Troubleshoot user and data errors ii) Maintain and support a large number of report scripts iii) Diagnose and resolve reporting issues iv) Scripting Reports using MS SQL SSRS Crystal Reports Adobe and Excel v) Perform code data and report script tests vi) Apply change control in the production code vii) Create and Maintain a Goldfarb Issues Log viii) Keep permanent record of any customizations to the core software product ix) Develop and publish documentation b) Training and Documentation Responsible for developing and maintaining training materials and for performing user training This also includes identifying peer users as Train the Trainers at each of the Branch offices and within the departments of the Main office Maintains a Training Records database Employee Skills Inventories Training Calendar c) Help Desk Provide Tier 1 response to user trouble tickets and telephone calls 3) Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of information analysis script programming accounting andor relational data report design experience The experience should include application systems in real estate property management domain a) A Bachelorrsquos degree with major coursework in IS or MIS Accounting or a related field b) The ability to work collaboratively with team members and customer groups and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment c) Experience working in the Property Management industries either in public or private sector is required d) Experience and knowledge on Yardi Voyager applications is a big plus e) The candidate must be customerservice focused and possess excellent communication skills f) A good understanding of accounting practices is desired g) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Visio Adobe Acrobat and authoring tools as required h) Experience or knowledge of MS SharePoint a big plus i) Good working knowledge of MS SQL Server SQL scripting tools like TOAD reporting tools like SSRS and Crystal Reports |
