| Serve Enterprises is a whollyowned subsidiary of American Express Serve Enterprise provides cuttingedge technological services in alternative payments in an innovative payment processing platform payment card network and new consumer payment solutions to the Enterprise Growth division of American Express This position offers the unique opportunity to work for a cutting edge startup while leveraging the resources and foundation of a prestigious globally recognized 160year old brand Serve is looking for an experience Quality Assurance Engineer with good automation and manual testing experience This position will exercise new enhanced and remediated features and functions to ensure the assigned software applications meet the quality guidelines and compliance standards As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing formal test suites to ensure delivery of quality software applications Performs detailed review of test suites and develops manual and automated test cases and test configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements Executes test casesscripts and tracks and monitors defect resolution activity Job Responsibilities Collaborates with the business and System Analysts during requirements development to ensure the needs are testable Performs complex functional application regression and performance tests Create Test strategies and plans Write and modify manual and automated test scripts Map business and technical requirements into test suites test cases and test scripts Identify document and assist in resolution of all defects related to test suite execution Support Partner Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Validate new software in the production environment Support postdeployment efforts to align with warrantee period Identify future product enhancement opportunities Assist Quality Assurance LeadManager on the implementation of the new application changes Required skills and knowledge Strong analytical and problem solving skills Indepth attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communications Knowledge of Automation tools (HP QTP) Knowledge of Defect management tools (MS TFS) Collaborative attitude with the ability to quickly adapt to changes Capacity to handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently and the knowledge as to when to seek guidance Ability to quickly learn new software and technology Selfmotivated Previous database experience Knowledge of writing sql queries Education RequirementExperience Bachelor039s degree in computer science or equivalent jobrelated experience Minimum of 5 years experience testing software |
