| At Christiana Care Health System named one of US News World Reportrsquos ldquoAmericarsquos Best Hospitalsrdquo wersquore dedicated to improving the health of all individuals in the communities we serve through health care services education and research With more than 10000 employees Christiana Care is the largest private employer in Delaware and the 10th largest employer in the Philadelphia region We are seeking an experienced Project Leader to join our IT department The Project Leader is responsible for implementing new functionality rolling out EMR to new practices and handling EMR upgrades Emphasis for this position is on delivering successful projects and implementations on time and within budget The Project Leader will work closely with our vendors to understand their roadmaps and be knowledgeable about healthcare trends (Meaningful Use ICD10) The Project Leader must be able to handle multiple assignments and be flexible to change The project leader will responsible for all aspects of project management including status reports issue escalation developing detailed project plans and overseeing projects from kickoff to completion The Project Leader should have solid experience managing the customer and vendor relationship The Project Leader should have analytical skills and experience putting together business cases (effort vs ROI) Health care knowledge is a plus Familiarity with Centricity EMR Cerner EMR or an equivalent electronic medical record system is required Must have technical background to understand basic terminology and be able to communicate with our customers in terms they will understand The Project Leader must think strategically and be able to develop short term midterm and long term plans Education Experience Bachelors degree required or experience consistent with the Project Leader job responsibilities A masters degree and PMP certification is preferred Eight to ten years of combined project management data processing and system analysis experience Familiarity with Centricity EMR Cerner EMR or an equivalent electronic medical record system Excellent organization and communication skills Care Health System is proud to be an equal opportunity employer whose staff is representative of its community and considers qualified applicants for open positions without regard to race color gender identity or expression religion sex sexual orientation national origin age marital status disability or genetic information |
