| Job Description We are a dynamic small business that has serviced the global industrial marketplace for over thirty five years In the forefront of the ecommerce revolution we now operate more than a half dozen sites all growing at an incredible pace We are seeking an innovative programmer with 57 years experience designing web applications integrated with databases The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and management experience leading an ecommerce web team This position offers a tremendous amount of growth opportunity to the successful individual who would thrive in a small business environment Responsibilities Manage organize and oversee the daily operations and activities of the web team Work effectively with web team other internal departments and IT contractors on assigned projects Design and develop applications for the companys websites that improve users experience Build applications integrated with SQL server and CRM software Maintain professional and technical knowledge uptodate follow coding best practices (including W3 standards and PCI Security Compliance) Monitor and maintain websites by performing routine updates testing and troubleshooting Manage scheduled tasks for assigned projects and provide progress reports to Upper Management Required Skills 5+ years demonstrated experience developing webbased applications with ASPNET AJAX Java Script and HTML Knowledge of CSS with experience creating effective user interfaces Strong demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Bachelors Degree in computer science 2+ years experience administering ecommerce sites 2+ years experience managing a team of database and web programmers Must show initiative and ability to multitask Good communication skills both written and verbal as well as excellent problem solving skills Experience working with Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server a plus Knowledge of nopCommerce platform and understanding of SEO practices a plus |
