Florida To be eligible for insurance coverage membership in a county Farm Bureau is required Job Description listed below SUMMARY Under general supervision plans develops tests and documents application software by performing the following duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following Other duties may be assigned Performs indepth systems analysis and development of complex technical or sensitive projects that impact the organizationrsquos computer systems Analyzes a particular task which is made up of potential user contact analysis of goals problem complexity and feasibility study analysis of inputoutput flow forms layout cost and time analysis and detailed flowcharting Evaluates user request for new or modified computer program to determine feasibility cost and time required compatibility with current system and computer capabilities Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives Reads manuals periodicals and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program and submits plan to user for approval Make changes to existing programs to accommodate changes in business requirements adhering to coding standards Designs and writes new programs based on user requirements adhering to coding standards Tests applications and features to ensure work is free from defects before deployment Analyzes reviews and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements Writes and updates documentation to describe program development logic coding and corrections Recreates steps taken by user to locate source of problem and rewrites program to correct errors Installs and tests program at user site Reports progress on a timely basis QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements
