will be located in the Transamerica Capital Markets (TCM) division TCM is one of the nations leading providers of annuity and life insurance products to banks wirehouses brokerdealers and institutional clients In Cedar Rapids TCM primarily manufactures administers and services annuity products issued by several AEGON USA operating companies Other Information There are currently 2 openings in this department The candidates will be hired as a Senior BSTA or an Intermediate BSTA based upon qualifications skills and organizational needs Responsibilities Intermediate BSTA Under minimal supervision facilitate the business analysis process to identify business requirements for system solutions or improved processes that will increase efficiency and overall productivity Work cohesively with developers business units and other test team members Responsible for the creation coordination and execution of test plans in a lead testing role for various types of projects Works on project teams that are developing or modifying moderately complex information systems Includes analysis and documentation of business and system requirement and all aspects of testing Analyzes business unit requests and understands business requirements works with various technical staff members to determine possible solutions and communicate business and system impacts to IT and Operations staff Responsible for assigned testing activities with minimal supervision including participation in identifying conditions and scenarios to be included in the test execution determination of expected results and script outcomes extensive use of automated testing tools manual data entry of test cases when necessary indepth review of output and root cause analysis for discrepancies found in test case results Responsible for all artifacts and tasks produced in the Requirements and Testing disciplines of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) including Stakeholder Requests current and future state models Use Cases Business Rules User Interface requirements Mapping documents Supplementary Specifications and associated diagrams also includes Test Plans and test cases Senior BSTA Lead the business analysis and testing processes and collaborate with project teams in the delivery of software solutions for TCM Technology Services and our trading partners Translate stakeholder needs into system requirements and execute associated test plans Works on project teams that are developing or modifying complex information systems Maintains positive working relationships between Annuity Services Technology Services and our Trading Partners Facilitates the elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements and Testing disciplines of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) including Stakeholder requests current and future state models Use Cases Business Rules User Interface requirements Mapping documents Supplementary Specifications and associated diagrams also includes Test Plans and test cases Identifies SOA IntegrationServices Requirements Translates business data to ACORD complaint data model Analyzes and documents functions and rules (logic) that need to be built to support the exchange of information internal and external to AEGON Provides leadership to project teams or provide mentoring in all areas of test automation tools and utilities Qualifications Intermediate BSTA Bachelors degree or equivalent educationexperience required Minimum of 24 years of experience in business analysis or IT Senior BSTA Bachelors degree required Minimum
