Retirement (ISR) engages in the creation distribution and servicing of mutual funds and variable and fixed annuities These innovative solutions help consumers address their accumulation protection and Responsibilities for Lead PM Transamerica Capital Management (TCM) has an open position for a Lead Project Manager The Lead Project Manager plans organizes and executes strategic large cross functional projects and small programs with maximum business value and the highest level of complexity in the organization Working with multiple Business units and Technical resources this person will actively manage the execution of scoped projects including the assembly of the project team task assignments development and maintenance of the project schedule and leadershipmonitoring of all project activities They have comprehensive abilities in leading their programproject through complex issues ambiguity and scope changes driving the team to clarity and make effective decisions The Lead Project Manager possesses comprehensive Project Management knowledge and the ability to blend the science of project management with the art of leadership for successful programproject outcomes They demonstrate comprehensive abilities to guide and influence at multiple levels of the organization through highly effective communication to understand stakeholder needs establish objectives and recommend approachessolutions This person is responsible for facilitating timely and complete resolution of project issues risks and decisions to meet all project deadlines They should have working industry knowledge and are expected to become knowledgeable about the TCM annuity business This includes the ability to articulate the why behind issues and proactively facilitate decision making processes The ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge across situations is critical This person will also collaboratively define document and improve portfolio project and enhancement processes and tools to ensure high quality efficient project delivery They should possess proven analytical skills for complex problem solving Experience with release management and process development is preferred Qualifications for Lead PM Candidates should have proven project communication leadership planning organizational change and interpersonal skills Candidates must also have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects and mentorcoach lessexperienced project managers A bachelors degree in business or technology related field or equivalent work experience is required Minimum eight years of project management experience and project management certification is preferred Candidates should be well versed in multiple project management and software development methodologies and proficient in the use of project management software Responsibilities for Senior PM Responsible for managing the overall direction of a single large or multiple smaller projects from analysis through implementation for projects with impact both within and across business units Provides direction in use of project mgmt and project lifecycle methodologies Provides frontline leadership to teams middot Serve as project manager for one or more projects middot Responsible for meeting timelines budget quality and resource commitments for project(s) middot Manage and coordinate project direction from analysis through implementation middot Actively manage the assembling of the project team determining project task assignments identifying resource requirements developing and maintaining project schedule coordinating the project activities and adhering to project deadlines middot Provide regular updates to team management and PMO on work performed plans budget and overall status middot Conduct team meetings communicate updates to the team and other interested parties middot Manage scope of project and elevate significant changes to the appropriate management middot May be responsible for instructing directing mentoring and checking the work of other team members Plans conducts and may supervise assignments middot Design and implement project organizational structure
