Job Description
| GENERAL DESCRIPTION The individual in this position is to report to and receive direction from the IT Manager and is primarily responsible for the support of AIMS software or related business systems In addition this individual may provide assistance and training for standard applications andor coordinate seminars and user group learning sessions RESPONSIBILITIES Recommend schedule and assist in performing system upgrades repairs and customer support Responsible for the support and maintenance of the AIMS and other related systems Ensuring all business process regarding adjudication are brought to the system administrators in a timely manner including AIMS technical support and troubleshooting Responsible for identifying areas for innovation and process improvement to business standards with ACI Interact with vendors outsourcers and contractors to secure support services and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as required to further increase business innovation and opportunities Assist in the maintenance and compliance with policies procedures and associated training plans for technology resource administration and appropriate use Complies with all ACI ITrelated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other key plans andor guidelines Assist with departmental and system improvements to help ensure the overall business consistency REQUIREMENTS Position requires a degree or certificate in Information Technology and relevant experience in maintaining computer operating systems applications and peripheral devices with 6 years experience Experience working in a regulated industry andor knowledge of clinical research data capture systems and the regulations that govern them is preferred Knowledge of and experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes At least 4 years experience with developing NET applications for Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures Views and ScalarValued TableValued Functions) Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server Technologies and MS Office Applications Experience with RAD AGILE or SCRUM based software development methodologies Able to run and maintain a workstation with required software (Windows 7 through 9 Internet Information Services SQL Server Visual Studio) experience coding HTMLAJAXJavaScriptCSS and a working knowledge of local area technologies and usergroup security administration Demonstrated ability to interact productively with IT colleagues business staff stakeholders and general system users Motivated selfstarter capable of independent work and possessing the ability to identify areas of opportunity within scope of responsibilities Superior organizational and communication skills Commitment to outstanding Customer Service for internal and external clients Excellent attention to details |
