CONNECT Computer is an IT Solutions Provider in Fairfield CT with an entrepreneurial culture looking for a midlevel to senior level NetworkSystems Engineer Opportunity exists for growth and advancement Candidate must be proficient in Win20082003 server including R2 versions and SBS Active Directory DNS Exchange Exchange Migrations IIS and all Microsoft desktop OSs Candidate must also have experience with server virtualization software including P2V and Shadow protect Hardware experience should include all aspects of Enterprise Network Servers including RAID (1 10 5 and 6) configuration and SANs (HP lefthand storagevmware VSA and dell equilogic) Experience w Citrix technologies is a plus Other experience should include configuring FirewallsRoutersSwitches LANWANWLAN technologies Remote Connectivity and VPN and SSL VPN Solutions Understanding of routing VLANs and network best practices is a must Candidates have to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple client projects to be able to work independently and to work well under pressure Must have own car and be willing to travel to one or more client locations on a daily basis This position entails travel primarily in Fairfield and New Haven counties with limited travel to Westchester County and Manhattan Attention to detail and the ability to document clearly is required Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required as close client interaction is involved Experience with ConnectWise is a plus Benefits include medical and dental training and certification program Position must be filled by endofmonth Established in 1985 CONNECT specializes in SmallMedium Business Enterprise Network Integration Application Managed Services Hosting from our Fairfield Data Center and Disaster Recovery Business Continuation Solutions
