| Looking for a smart talented web designer with frontend development skills to be a part of a fastmoving creative team tasked with helping MIT achieve its vision and philanthropic goals as we begin a major capital campaign to shape the future of MIT Experience working with a variety of editorial and design content with the ability to produce work that is current polished at times quirky and always brings a story to life Enjoys working with clients with a sincere desire to help them meet their communications goals Able to assess communications strategies to help create the most effective and responsive digital communications A team player who can also contribute innovative ideas thinks BIG but pays attention to detail a positive selfstarter who is comfortable learning new skills independently a thoughtful designer who is also able to multitask and manage their own time to meet aggressive deadlines REQUIREMENTS an undergraduate degree in graphic design web design or related field at least three years experience in digital marketing communicationsdesign development and production experience working within the development cycle for complex web initiatives knowledge of andor experience with HTML5 CSS JavaScript JQuery AJAX PHP MySQL Photoshop Illustrator Acrobat Dreamweaver and MS Office in a Macintosh environment and experience implementing content management systems (WordPress Expression Engine Drupal) interactive charts and graphs blogs wikis social media analytics mobile and responsive web design HTML emails user interface design presentations browser compatibility and accessibility standards Experience with higher education or a digitalcreative agency a plus To apply go to jobsmitedu and search for mit00008933 Please note MIT is unable to provide visa sponsorship |
