| QA Engineer About Our Company RedTouch Media provides digital content management and distribution systems for the major music labels and movie studios utilizing web applications Mobile applications for IOS Android and Windows and Windows terminal applications We provide market leading software to meet the media software needs for both B2B and B2C implementations RedTouch Media offers the opportunity to work with extremely bright talented motivated people who love what they do We work hard and we play hard We offer a great opportunity to be creative and make a real difference in the quality of our solutions Role Description The ongoing evolution of our core product lines along with rapid development of new mobile application software requires that we expand our QA efforts to aid in the critical qualification phase of our development cycle RedTouch Medias offerings include industry leading web kiosk and mobile applications to support the fast paced music and movie industries The role of the QA engineer is key in maintaining our reputation for quality by ensuring that our deliverables meet our very high standards for quality The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills be a team player be innovative and creative have the ability to quickly learn new software products have a love for creating testing solutions from the ground up and be a selfstarter who can work with minimal direction Duties Finding and tracking software defects Defining all QA Processes and working with development within an agile development methodology Developing detailed test plan documentation based on project requirements Developing automated test platforms from the ground up Creating and executing test plans Logging and describing issues discovered during testing Interacting with developers to resolve issues discovered during testing Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills Previous QA experience including assembly and execution of test plans Experience with gathering requirements writing specifications and test plans Experience with bug tracking and test management systems Experience with Scrum or other Agile software development methodologies Development experience in C and SQL Server preferred Experience with Microsoft TFS preferred Bachelor degree in engineering computer science or equivalent preferred Experience with IOS and Android mobile application testing preferred Contact CollinRedTouchMediacom Please include QA Engineer in your subject line |
