| Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Director the Continuous Improvement Manager will promote and lead the LEAP (Lean Efforts and Automated Processes) Countywide initiative through the development and sustainability of a continuous improvement culture The Continuous Improvement Manager provides leadership mentoring and training to all levels and functions of the businesss operations on the use and practice of Lean Kaizen methodology and tools (DMAIC Quick Changeover Root Cause Analysis etc) Utilizing best practices the Continuous Improvement Manager assesses prioritizes and guides the analysis of existing processes and drives process improvement across the organization This position leads team members in developing and analyzing all process improvement techniques and methodologies in order to achieve organizational excellence The Continuous Improvement Manager serves as the subject matter expert on continuous improvement and works with the Governance Committee to develop performance data collection systems and deploy key performance indicators that drive improvement across all areas of the business HeShe displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to highimpact complex andor crossfunctional processes HeShe analyzes data and develops recommendations for business processes that ensure alignment with the Countys strategic direction and integrate business processes between multiple organizations Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited fouryear college with a Bachelors degree in computer science business public administration or related field plus four years of experience in applications development operations management or information technology support two of years in a leadsupervisory or business relationship role AND Lean certification or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or other recognized external certification) with a project history of a minimum of 20 personally facilitated projects or equivalent work experience OR A combination of education and experience in public administration or related field with six years of progressively responsible experience in a position similar to Continuous Improvement Manager AND Lean certification or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or other recognized external certification) with a project history of a minimum of 20 personally facilitated projects or equivalent work experience For a complete job description and required application please visit our website at wwwolmstedcountycom An Equal Opportunity Employer |
