| Position Title Information Technology Project Manager Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the daytoday Project Management of the IT Department with projects related but not limited to Software Development Local Area Network (LAN) Wide Area Network (WAN) and associated services VOIP and MPLS for Branches and Headquarters Summary of Duties Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department through the entire implementation cycle from concept to deployment Sets deadlines assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of project Builds and maintains working relationships with team members vendors and other departments involved in the projects Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Help develop implement IT standards and best practices to ensure a highdegree of user satisfaction Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects and update each project change Ensure project deliverables match users expectations by proactively informing managers and users of progressobstacles Provide guidance mentoring and leadership to other members of technical staff Work independently with very little supervision while providing clear documented activities Qualifications BSBA in Computer Science IT Business or equivalent 8+ years experience in Information Technology and at least 5 years experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have 5 years experience in MS project or similar project management system Certification in Project Management is a plus Experience in SharePoint and Microsoft Visio is a plus Strong leadership and communication skills and business acumen Experience leading a team of internal and external resources Ability to work in a fast paced environment Experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst is preferred Project management organizational and prioritizing skills Understanding of MPLS and technologies such as VoIP is preferred Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills Problemsolving skills to resolve issues Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed Benefits Competitive wage Comprehensive Benefits package including medical dental vision and life insurance 401 (k) retirement plan Outstanding work environment EOE Email wage requirements and resume to workfreewayinsurancecom |
