| Bemis Company is a major supplier of flexible packaging and pressure sensitive materials used by leading food consumer products healthcare and other companies worldwide Founded in 1858 the Company is included in the SP 500 index of stocks and reported 2012 net sales of 51 billion The Companys flexible packaging business has a strong technical base in polymer chemistry film extrusion coating and laminating printing and converting Headquartered in Neenah Wisconsin Bemis employs nearly 20000 individuals worldwide More information about the Company is available at our website wwwbemiscom We currently have an opening for a Microsoft Exchange Administrator to join our team in Oshkosh This position is responsible for assisting in the planning design installation support maintenance and recovery of server and storage hardwaresoftware that is used as part of the Bemis Microsoft Exchange and Messaging computing environment Job Duties 1 Recommend and integrate hardwaresoftware in the Microsoft Exchange Server and storage environment 2 Provide support for the data center distributed computing environment including server virtualization 3 Insure that all major changes are reviewed and approved by appropriate management before resources are committed This includes scheduling reviews with management and appropriate personnel to review the affects on the business process 4 Responsible for documentation of the Microsoft Exchange and Messaging computing environment 5 Responsible for all activities relating to problem reporting and change control for assigned projects 6 Responsible for insuring that all components within the Exchange Messaging computing infrastructure have proper backup and that the proper hardware and software is installed to provide the level of service required 7 Assists with the coordinationmanagement of vendors who are contracted for services relating to the computing environment 8 Researches new technology systems which could improve efficiencies in computing environment and recommends appropriate findings to management Education and Experience A Bachelors Degree with emphasis on Information Technology MIS and or Engineering preferred or two year Associate Degree in Information Technology or Computer Information Services with equivalent experience 4 7 years of experience in a comparable Information Technology environment Skills and Abilities Experience working in a distributed computing environment at a variety of locations with different business operating procedures This experience should include Technical infrastructure designsupport as represented in the Bemis IT Standards this includes Windows Server and related technologies (Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server etc) Problem solving based on experience with the technology Support of a complex global infrastructure based on above listed technologies Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer |
