| Embedded Software Developer with Enterprise Communications No Relocation Benefits The software developer will have these job responsibilities Develop embedded Linux andor VxWorks software applications based on existing reference designs for o VoIP Communications Devices (Phones ATA etc) o Wireless Smartphone Accessories (Bluetooth and WiFi) Design Coding and Integration of o Voice telephone features using Broadcoms PhonexChange Call Control API o Audio Control User Interface Alerting Visual Indicator Modules o Networking elements such as DHCP HTTP 8021x LLDP o Boot provisioning and factory test o Integration with 3rd party SIP service providers o Lowpower system management features o Smartphone Applications Because we are a small team the developer will also be responsible for the creation and execution of both unit and system level tests of the product against the product requirements and verification of interoperability with other products Candidate will have the assistance of a technician for test execution Ongoing maintenance (bugfixes) to delivered customer code and responding to customer requested upgrades Required Skills 5+ years of experience in realtime software development C C++ and assembly language programming Experience with Embedded Linux and VxWorks Ability to excel in a selfdirected small team environment Excellent Communications Skills both verbal and written Desired Skills Telephone Design Experience SIP Product Development VoIP Transport and Signaling Protocol Experience (RTP RTCP SIP) Broadcom PhonexChange Experience Smartphone application development (iOS and Android) CSR Bluetooth DSP Programming Familiarity with the latest SIP RFCs and associated Sipping Drafts HTMLXML markup languages |
