| Sarasota County Schools located in Sarasota FL currently seeks a SQL Administrator to help develop its Local Instructional Improvement System (LIIS) 18month contract will allow SQL Administrator to play a crucial role in successful design development and launch of new SQLbased databases Responsibilities The SQL Administrator will work with Sarasota County Schools team members to convert the current teacher professional development system to a vendorsupplied product The SQL Administrator will drive requirements aid in database design enforce appropriate standards develop documentation suggest conversion approaches and ensure data integrity Education Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science information systems or equivalent experience Qualifications Minimum one year experience using MS SQL 2005 and 2008 two or more years preferred Proficiency with MS SQL 2005 and 2008 including but not limited to SSIS ETL Data Integration Analytic Services Business Intelligence views stored procedures and tuning Demonstrated experience converting data to a new system while maintaining data integrity Experience following a defined methodology on IT projects along with ability to create such documents for others to follow Experience leading and gathering requirements across a team environment Experience in data analysis and conversion and archive approaches Familiarity with technical architecture databases and system conversions Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and peers ina timely tactful and effective manner Ability to work in teamoriented environment that is fastpaced and detailoriented Ability to follow written and verbal directions Experience in educational setting is a plus If interested please send resume including any experience in educational setting plus salary requirements to amydonnersarasotacountyschoolsnet |
