| 3 Positions Available This position is responsible for architecting programming debugging and testing enterprisewide application projects to solve complex business problems Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated business acumen which assists them in designing applications that meet the business needs Strong candidates will have demonstrated success in several projects with gathering requirements analyzing the problems from a fresh perspective providing creative solutions to the problems designing and rapidly implementing prototypes to test solutions then implementing a fully tested solution that addresses the business units needs with an intuitive and modern interface Position is available in Waseca MN Woodstock IL or East Greenville PA Additional responsibilities include building and supporting a common technological infrastructure for all operating units by implementing and supporting software technologies throughout the company improving customer experience by having the same technologies across all operating units and enabling customers who interact with multiple locations to view Brown Printing as one cohesive entity Detailed knowledge of Oracle SQLPLSQL and C in the NET framework as primary development tools with a general understanding of Java preferred The position qualifications and job specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge skills andor ability required to successfully perform the essential and additional duties and responsibilities of this position Bachelors degree (B A) from fouryear college or university andor one to two years related experience andor training or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers andor employees of the organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardizationalternatives exist Ability to enhance customer relations by developing a thorough understanding of the customers and their business this includes understanding and meeting the customers expectations on delivered products Solid communication skills both oral and written Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees managers and customers Experience working with Microsoft Office products including Excel Word Access PowerPoint Outlook and the Internet Detailoriented with good organizational and time management skills able to prioritize tasks and manage time resources and multiple tasks effectively Selfmotivated and able to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work within a flexible schedule Ability to sit for extended periods and may standor walk for remaining period of the workday occasionally bendsstoops occasionally lifts andor carries up to 10 pounds has repetitive use of hands through keyboarding abilities and exposure to moderate noise levels Good work history and acceptable attendance Brown Printing Company is the 3rd largest publication printer and 5th largest catalog printer in the country Our large volume high technology facilities print some of the top magazines in the United States including Time Sports Illustrated People Parents Family Circle Essence Real Simple and the New England Journal of Medicine |
