| Job Title ERP Administrator Schaumburg IL Oerlikon creates innovative industrial solutions for a better life This is the motivation of our more than 17000 employees at over 150 locations in 38 countries We strive to be the most reliable business partner for our customers and to continuously create value for them Oerlikon is a corporation with more than 100 years of industrial experience strong Swiss roots an international approach and committed to innovations If you want to operate in a business environment that gives you the freedom to imagine what is possible then you should send us your application Visit our Career Page at wwwoerlikoncom Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology Americas the ERP Administrator will primarily be responsible for analysis design testing and deployment of various business applications and systems The ERP Administrator will lead the administration of the organizations Microsoft Dynamics ERP system in the Americas Region in coordination with the Corporate ERP Team The ERP Administrator will support various IT and functional teams from a business applications perspective to identify needs resolve issuesconcerns and implement solutions in a timely manner The ERP Administrator will lead and assist on various projects as directed including development of new functionality Key Responsibilities Participate in design sessions led by Balzers Technology and Service Center (BTS) team members Provide technology input into possible solutions for complex business problems Collaborate with the various functional teams and other developers to find viable solutions to business problems Responsible for the design development and implementation of change and enhancements in the organizations ERP platform as well as various other organizational systems Responsible for the support of various business applications within the organization Assists the Applications Support team on resolving issues as they arise Serve as a key member in the development of adhoc reporting and queries Acts as an expert in the types of data available within the enterprise and the most effective ways to report on them Uses the appropriate reporting andor database tools to build effective reports as needed Tests and documents code as it is developed Assists in the integration of code units as part of larger solutions Requirements Bachelors degree required 3+ years of experience as a Navision developer Expertise in CAL CSide and CFront Microsoft Navision Certification or comparable experience Experience with SQL development and database management skills Understanding of data relational models Experience with Microsoft Development Tools (C Java VB 6 C++ ASPNET) is a plus Team player with strong oral and written communication skills |
