| Quality Assurance Engineer ndash MTech Systems MTech Systems is a stable fast growing and industry leading international software development company headquartered in the Dunwoody400 Perimeter Area of Atlanta Retaining and recruiting outstanding team members is a missioncritical component of our ongoing success We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer of midlevel Reporting directly to the Director of Tech Support and Quality Assurance the candidate will design and develop test plans and assist with software testing and defect resolution MTech offers competitive salaries excellent benefits a working atmosphere that encourages collaboration comfortable facilities exceptional IT tools training and ongoing opportunities to work with executive management The working environment is casual with flextime and there is great potential for advancement This is a contract to permanent position No relocation expenses paid Responsibilities include Design test plans and test cases from functional specifications and test scenarios Write manual functional and regression test suites and automated tests including coding and record and playback Configure administer and troubleshoot software test environment Test software using the techniques and automated tools in use by the quality assurance team Update and maintain test specifications and test plans via source control software Utilize software tools to report and monitor bugs with software products and assist software engineers in reproducing and solving product related issues Work closely with technical support to help solve customer issues Maintain a good working relationship with other software engineers and QA engineers Required Skills and Qualities Demonstrated ability for attention to detail Two years minimum experience in software quality assurance Demonstrated initiative to solve tough problems Passion for contributing in a group environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated problemsolving skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Bachelorrsquos Degree desired Strong communication skills and people skills Enjoys challenge Experience with Microsoft Test Manager a strong plus Benefits Flextime Health Insurance Life Insurance Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Paid Vacation Paid Sick Leave Paid Training and Retirement Plan Permanent Position |
