| POSITION SUMMARY As the countrys largest casual Mexican restaurant chain On The Border offers great career opportunities and tremendous growth potential Join a homeoffice team with brand passion a flare for fun and a commitment to excellence in supporting an outstanding group of restaurants and managers The primary focus of this role will be on the internally developed applications This role will have high visibility with all business units and have an opportunity to be exposed to many parts of the Restaurant business This role will also work with our BI developer to sharpenlearn skills in the Microsoft BI stack OTB believes in training and is highly supportive of our employees to continue their technology education In a small shop the exposure to different parts of the business are not limited to just development This role will have an impact on important business initiatives and will have the opportunity to help streamline daily activities ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Proficient in Microsoft Development Technologies which would include NET Framework 40 C Web Services etc Proficient with MSSQL backend databases Will support approximately 12 inhouse NETMSSQL developed applications Should be able to carry out development work with little guidance Should be able to suggest process improvement opportunities and think outside the box Provide Level 2 technical support for application and datamining activities of OTBs internal applications Provide technical support to a variety of endusers to identify needs and identify solutions QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems 56 years of information technology experience required Three years or more of application development experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have proven programming skills Must be analytical solutionoriented and possess excellent trouble shooting and timemanagement skills Must be flexible to ensure off hours support to user community Must be available during nights and weekends for support if necessary Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal Must have solid interpersonal skills |
