| Vision Government Solutions Inc a premier provider of property tax services and software technologies is seeking a strong Software Developer for its growing product development team We are a privatelyheld firm that is based in Northborough Massachusetts and wellpositioned for continued growth Summary We seek a strong NET Developer to primarily develop new product releases and support existing products to complete complex report development to convert and load data for new customers as well as to develop system integration interfaces between our products and our clientrsquos thirdparty applications Additionally experience with SQL Server C TSQL WCF and WPF would be beneficial The position is located in Northborough MA however depending implementation projects there may be the requirement to travel to clients sites for technical requirements testing and golive issue resolution This travel could be as much as 30 depending on the project Essential Functions Work on a team that designs develops tests documents implements and maintains commercial software components reports and product that support state and local government property tax related business processes Execute all phases of software application projects including database conversions defect removal issue resolution or any technical task required to ensure successful deployment Contribute to recommendations of design approaches and assist in developing product enhancements (both functional and technical) that satisfy customer contract requirements identified by project managers Ability to analyze information and recommend plan of action to project team members andor stakeholders Analyze and solve complex business problems Gather compile analyze and document Software or System Integration Requirements Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can easily understand the program logic Prepare documents describing installation and operating procedures for deliverables Troubleshoot applications and quickly resolve production issues Assist team members and product users with problems Identify issues and inconsistencies with data quality and creates processes to overcome system deficiencies Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in MIS computer science or a related field depending on position level Three or more years of experience with Web andor TaxCAMA application design and programming New Product Creation SQL Server C TSQL WPF WCF Comfortable with quantitative applications that contain nontrivial statistical and financialoriented algorithms Full Product Software Development Lifecycle (COTS) ObjectOriented and Relational Database Design Exceptional attention to detail strong time management skills and ability to meet short deadlines Comfortable with iterative or lean methodologies and limited specifications Effective oral and written communication skills Comfortable talking with customers peers and managers |
