| Informated Software Solutions Corporation is currently seeking a web designer for a fulltime about sixmonth onsite web designer position to serve an educational government client At the end of the six month the client will possibly hire a web designer for the same work and so the selected candidate will likely have an advantage of applying for this government job Or the client if having funding may continue to fund the web designer position through Informated Software Solutions The primary job location is Suitland Maryland (DC Metro) Work in DC is often needed there is a free shuttle between the two locations A certain amount of telecommuting is possible The candidate must be a US citizen or must provide documentation proving legal working status in US This job is not for contract or outsourcing Responsibilities Communicate with client to collect requirements determine priorities objectives and scope Design websites produce wireframes create graphics page design and interactive content Provide directed support to and maintenance of existing websites Simultaneously manage multiple web projects and priorities Produce relevant technical documentation Perform other assignments as requested Qualifications and Skills MUST have a minimum of 5 years of experience dedicated to designing websites by using frontend tools and technologies Must be an accomplished frontend designerdeveloper MUST be experienced in HTML Flash CSS and CSSbased design and Javascript MUST be adept with the suite of Adobe tools especially Photoshop and Illustrator MUST have demonstrated ability to conceptualize creative and engaging web design MUST have an online portfolio with at least 5 verifiable examples of websites Experience in website structure and the process of web projects Experience or knowledge of responsive web design Good verbal and written communication skills Independent cooperative selfmotivated quick learner with strong work ethic Ability to design and develop on and for users of both Mac and Windows Education and Training Degree or formal training in graphic design web development fine arts digital animation or related field Certification is a plus Qualified candidates seeking consideration should reply to this ad with their resume including links to past work (currently available online) Incomplete submissions will not be considered About the Company Informated Software Solutions is a dynamic software firm dedicated to providing quality consulting services and commercial products Informated Software Solutions values contributing employees cares about their growth and offers competitive packages |
