| We are searching for a Senior VBNET Developer who is passionate about software development The successful candidate will produce clean highquality wellcommented code that conforms to our standards This position will analyze complex business and functional requirements to design the simplest possible solution consistent with existing frameworks and patternsThis position is a seniorlevel Net ProgrammerSoftware Engineer who will work with the projects Lead Developer MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Create system specifications to meet business requirements Develop VBNet applications and solutions for company objectives and projects Work jointly with database analysts to assure data relationships are established according to business rules and policies Work with team members to identify and address risks in application design and delivery Perform product maintenance and bug fixes Implement new product features Analyze system logs and alerts for signs of problems and recommend improvements Provide assistance with release and quality assurance testing Provide backup oncall support as needed (lead developer will be primary oncall) Other related duties as directed Execute performance and load tests on applications to identify and resolve problems Maintain development test and production environments SKILL SET Expert with VBNet Win Forms application development Expert with Microsoft SQL Server (TSQL stored procedures and views) Strong knowledge of the NET Framework Strong experience with 3tier application design and construction using VB Net Strong understanding of common design patterns Experience in the health care field is desired Experience using Encapsulation Abstraction Polymorphism and other OOPOOAD Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities Experience working in a teamoriented collaborative environment Experience in building web services using the NET Framework Experience with source control tools Experienced in using inhouse application frameworks REQUIREMENTS A degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience in a development position 5 years of experience working in design and development of VBNET Win Forms 5 years of experience with NET framework using Object Oriented techniques 5 years of experience with relational databases and SQL Server Expert knowledge of complex relation database systems Strong technical software related problem solving and analytical skills Working knowledge of Web services Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word Excel Outlook and Visio |
