| CourthouseDirect is currently looking for a successful applicant to join our IT staff as a Release Engineer Our company is in the property title and property research industry We collect all types of real estateproperty data import and massage into our databases and then expose this data through a variety of web and windows applications These are ecommerce applications which are highly database driven but also serve as a tool for searching aggregating and linking to property information stored in our databases We have a relaxed small company atmosphere but at the same time we are growing rapidly and looking for selfstarters to join our company and help us continue to grow Our company has been on the forefront of providing high quality innovative services in the property industry for the past 30 years and just last year we were voted as one of the top small companies to work for in Houston by the Houston Chronicle Please submit a short cover letter and your resume Responsibilities Include Responsible for managingconfiguring source control via TFS for any given number of projects Responsible for performing branchinglabelingmerging via TFS as necessary to support multiple releases Responsible for maintaining various applications3rd party installations on DevQAStagingProduction environments including performing IIS Administration for the various web applications Responsible for coordinating buildsdeployments to the various environments for any given release making good use of automation tools where applicable (ie creating custom tools to push builds to servers integrating build steps into MS BuildTFS builds etchellip) Responsible for maintaining environment matrixrsquos to keep track of which code releases are present on which servers Responsible for creating installers(using Installshield etchellip) that can be used for a variety of purposes Responsible for continually improving and documenting builddeployment processes and procedures Responsible for coordinating release scheduling with any necessary stakeholders including supporting multiple releases in close timeframes Responsible for planningcoordinating rollback procedures for codedatabases Responsible for maintainingdistributing release notes for all releases Skills Candidate should have proficient working knowledge regarding best practices for maintaining and releasing code including branchinglabelingmerging Candidate should have 3+ years of administrative experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) Candidate should have 3+ years of administrative experience with Internet Information Systems (IIS) Candidate should have some CASP NET programming experience having developed toolsprograms using Visual Studio NET Candidate should have some experience with SQLSQL Server Candidate should have some experience using Installshield or equivalent installer applications ExperienceEducation 4year degree in related field preferred Minimum 3+ years work experience Please include a cover letter in order to be considered for this position Location Houston TX (290610) No relocation assistance available No visa sponsorship available |
