| Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing network environment Performing routine audits of systems and software Performing backups every day Applying operating system updates patches and configuration changes Installing and configuring new hardware and software Adding removing or updating user account information resetting passwords etc Answering technical queries and interacting with users Responsibility for security Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system Troubleshooting any reported problems System performance tuning (make sure everything is running smoothly) Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running Mobile devices Experience with Windows servers (2003 2008) Active directory Domain controllers Global Catalog servers DNS and DHCP servers Exchange 2003 2007 2010 VMware ESXi Windows Hyperv Firewall Experience whatchguard SonicWall VPN RemoteDesktop ScreenSharing Certifications (preferred but not required) MCSE Comptia A+ Network+ Network copiers (MFP) Printers Microsoft SQL |
