Job Summary The Information Security Office has an immediate opening for a Department Director and will be responsible for leading a team of Architects and Engineers This Director will be responsible for defining the goals objectives processes and resources to support the overall strategic vision of area This position directs people management activities including career planningsupport training interviewing hiring rewarding disciplining and performance and salary reviews The Director will be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities The Director will also ensure the organizational structure of the department is comprised of the appropriate resources including any third party resources to support the various business initiatives Responsibilities include defining the level of quality standards for products and services ensuring adherence and promoting continuous improvement Position typically includes direct responsibility for people management including career planningsupport training interviewing hiring rewarding disciplining and performance and salary reviews Position will also be required to effectively engage third party resource teams and to negotiate and manage results as agreed upon and determined suitable to activity The Director will manage direct coordinate lead and mentor a team of Security Architects and Engineers for Centric Group This teamsrsquo main focus will be to continuously identify current security threats to our organization and put a plan in place to defend against those Required Skills bull Minimum of 5 years experience managing one or more teams in complex business environment bull 5+ years proven success in IT leadership and people management bull Ability to develop security strategy and apply industry risk to Centric Group bull Ability to balance risk with business priorities and applies the appropriate sense of urgency to issues bull Evidence of commitment to cost controls and effective measures to reduce expense bull Exceptional communications both oral and written bull Established effective existing relationships within all levels of the organization bull Known as proven decision maker with balanced solid judgment bull Proven work within IT Security bull Possess strong analytical skill bull Very organized and capable of prioritizing own work load and work load of others bull Highly adaptable to rapidly changing environment and situations Additional Responsibilities bull Manage and track all issues encountered on security solutions as assigned on project teams bull Manage subordinates on all projects getting project status and updates bull Interfaces and work with user community on implementing controls for security to Centric Group Security Framework bull Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationrsquos policies and applicable laws Some include defining educational plans for employees training planning assigning and directing work addressing complaints resolving problems interviewing hiring scheduling rewarding andor disciplining employees and preparing performance and salary reviews bull Facilitate departmental and team meetings Education Requirement bull Bachelors degree and two to four years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience bull IT Professional Security Certifications is a plus Additional Requirements bull Must pass background credit motor vehicle record and drug checks Please Apply online at
