architecting development and support for the State and Local Government Finance Divisions departmental applications Development duties include business process automation analysis system architecting coordination with business analyst on requirements gathering and use case development system design system development testing methodology implementation test plan development and execution TSQL using MS SQL Server 2008 report development with MS SQL Server Reporting Services data integration and transformation with MS SQL Server Integration Services and system automation and integration with Microsoft (MS) NET languages and technologies The candidate should be middot Proficient in TSQL and data modelingmiddot Proficient in MS SQL Reporting Services Report Designer Report Builder Report Modelmiddot Proficient in MS SQL Server Integration Services and the creating of ETL packages middot Proficient with programming VB Script C PowerShell VBA for Excelmiddot Proficient in Web and serve as a technical resource to technicians and analysts High technical knowledge level of applications systems analysis and programming Understanding of detailed technical issues to design architecture for stable technologies and provides direction for technicians and other analysts Planning and Organizing Knowledge of work standards standard processes and references to regularly assist management in changes Ability to plan and organize daytoday work of other technicians andor analysts Technical Solution Development Ability to investigate research and implement new technologies in specialty or related area Knowledge of computer equipment capacity and limitations to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems Technical Support Ability to interact with and serve as a key resource in solving problems of high complexity to other analyst and technicians Ability to recommend methods of resolving problems to lower level analysts or client representatives Consultancy Skills Ability to consult with clients on issues and requests that require the implementation or creation of a custom solution Project Management Ability to manage complex projects Teamwork Plans and works on shared or joint projects and coordinates with others to achieve agreed upon outcomes Customer Service Establishes a positive relationship by demonstrating ownership of customer issues semester hours of programming and one year of experience in business applications consulting or development Experience in the field of work related to the position may be substituted on year for year basis Management PreferencesA minimum of two years of handson development experience and a minimum of one year with the specific skills listed under Major Duties above Must have excellent
