| This posting will end at 900 PM PST on March 8 2013 This is a oneyear employment contract position that includes a comprehensive benefit plan (medical dental vision and bonus program eligibility) Employment contract could extend beyond one year or could possibly be converted to regular status Employment contract positions are on the SDGE payroll and are not thirdparty contractors Please note that this position can be filled at a higher level depending on qualifications Play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting integration solutions using messaging technologies for SEUrsquos systems You will be part of a team supporting a variety of EAI and SOA technologies The candidate will collaborate with staff colleagues and other stakeholders to review requirements assess and recommend available options and implement solutions for project and operational scenarios with varying degrees of complexity Must be an effective team member and may have project leadership responsibility for small projects Specific responsibilities for this position include Interacts with technical and nontechnical customers to understand and interpret requirements and implement solutions to meet requirements Consults with other developersarchitects to provide expert opinion on tools and technologies and propose alternate solutions Participate in developing coding and design standards related to SOA and integration perform code reviews Provides technical leadership of implementation activities performed by internal and external resources Performs ongoing optimization and maintenance of integration and service components Provides 7x24 support and triage for mission critical systems on rotation basis Qualifications Requires a Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems (or related field) or equivalent training At least five years experience with a variety of operating systems protocols and tools Other desirable qualifications Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategies solutions and standards (eg XML SOAP WSDL) Experience with Enterprise Service Bus based integration architecture Experience with a variety of application and integration server platforms eg WebLogic Server IBM WebSphere Tibco Apache Tomcat etc Experience developing in a secure web services environment using SSL encryption authentication and in particular Web Services security specs (WS) Experience with XML gateways eg Layer7 Cisco AXG IBM Data Power etc Java development skills including J2EE and JMS Superior troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Experience with LinuxUnix command line and scripting Understanding of Web technologies and interfaces to UnixNT clientserver systems Strong interpersonal skills ability to work well on crossfunctional project teams and has ability to effectively coach and mentor others |
