Job Description
| Responsibilities Provide onsite troubleshooting training and tech support at the desktop level Provide telephoneremote tech support to end users Perform software installs and updates Maintain accurate client network documentation Maintain accurate inventory documentation Set up PCs printers peripherals and networking equipment Manage Computers Users and Group Policy in Active Directory Assist in administration of network equipment servers Manage DNS DHCP and wireless networks Manage VMware hosts for QA and corporate services Administer Exchange Sharepoint et al for QA Willingness to work offhours as necessary for timecritical projects Qualifications Desire to provide excellent and efficient service Excellent troubleshooting skills Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word and Excel Solid skills in other common business applications Basic to advanced understanding of LAN and WAN networking Good communication skills for enduser training and tutorial Solid understanding of PC and laptop hardware and Windows operating systems Basic scripting Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Basic LinuxUnix skills Desire to learn networking and server administration for production Bonus Points For Cisco certifications SANNAS management experience Alfresco experience IP phone management RSA experience Education Requirement Bachelors or equivalent experience plus 12 years Salary Range 35000 to 50000 per year based on experience Location Albany NY No phone calls please no corp to corp direct hire only We are an equal oppurtunity employer |
