Job Description
| The User Experience Architect assists with the various design and user experience activities and deliverables to drive meaningful interactive experiences Key activities include usability testing with both internal and external users conduct user research aggregate and communicate findings to project teams as well as building low to hi fidelity prototypes and specifications They will participate on cross functional teams in activities and deliverables associated with user centered design software development lifecycle and functional requirements gathering User experience Architects will also create design concepts annotated wireframes interactive models prototypes and functional specifications based on usability studies and field research Responsibilites Enhance and maintain existing graphical elements and interfaces Incorporateusability testing resultsrecommendations into design concepts Workclosely with stakeholders agencies development teams QC and implementation Participateas a contributor to an interdisciplinary project team that includes other userexperience staff project managers business strategists agencies consultantsand technical leadership Effectivelyaggregate and communicate research findings conceptual ideas detailed designand design rationale both verbally and visually Createfunctional requirements and low to high fidelity prototypes within an agiledevelopment cycle Ensure that designs and interfaces adhere to the corporate brand and style guide Create and promote User Interface and Design standards to be used across projects Along with design participate in production of personas scenarios process flows annotated wireframes design prototypes and functional design specifications for complex andor transactional we Qualifications 2 years of web design andor usability experience with an understanding of userinterface design Experiencewith user centered design activities such as planning and conducting usabilitytests disseminating and presenting research findings Experiencewith prototyping tools such as Axure IRise etc Knowledgeof user interface design processes and methodology Excellentcommunication and organization skills able to function as a thought leader aswell as an individual contributor Knowledgeof capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as CMS HTMLJavaScript Flash and CSS DesiredExperience and Education Planningcoordinating and conducting user research contextual and ethnographic studiesparticipatory design and usability testing Experienceworking in an Information Technology department ranging from specific application functionalities to understanding the entire software developmentlifecycle Skilledin HTML CSS and JavaScript code Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction |
