| Established in 1999 Nexiant is a leading provider of cloudbased Indirect Material Management Solutions for the industrial market More than 1000 industrial companies currently rely on Nexiantrsquos solutions daily to reduce their indirect material spend by as much as 20 and to drastically streamline their indirect material management processes Nexiant is uniquely focused on integrating the entire endtoend indirect material lifecycle to deliver the highest possible ROI for our customers and Nexiantrsquos cloudbased delivery model enables customers to rapidly deploy the solution without any significant upfront IT investment Job Description The Software Architect is responsible for designing coding testing and implementing Nexiantrsquos on demand MRO supply chain SaaS solution built on Microsoft Azure The architect needs to be intimately familiar with developing code in C ASPNET and SQL Server for a web based enterprise application Responsibilities include designing and architecting the next generation of Nexiantrsquos web based enterprise application mentoring and leading peers and other team members in developing a fully redundant scalable secure and robust application utilizing the latest technologies The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast paced growing company with a selfdriven team If you are have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy creating innovative solutions to complex problems Nexiant may be a fit for you You will fit right in if you enjoy bleeding edge technology and coming up with creative solutions to complex problems You must enjoy hands on coding as it is a requirement for every member of the team ndash we are a small team and everyone in the team writes code You must be a stickler for quality performance and usability Core Responsibilities Design develop and implement software systems based on Microsoft application technologies (NET C SQL Server Microsoft Azure Extnet Sencha) Experience in architecting and developing highvolume multitier multitenant enterprise web based software applications and products Ability to carry out all policies and procedures as established by the team department or company at large Ability to effectively communicate designs and defend architectural decisions with a peer group of engineers Core Responsibilities Design develop and implement software systems based on Microsoft application technologies (NET C SQL Server Microsoft Azure Extnet Sencha) Experience in architecting and developing highvolume multitier multitenant enterprise web based software applications and products Ability to carry out all policies and procedures as established by the team department or company at large Ability to effectively communicate designs and defend architectural decisions with a peer group of engineers Required Skills Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science or related field Masterrsquos degree is preferred 1012 years hands on development experience using the latest Microsoft technologies NET Framework 35 MS Visual Studio 2010 MS Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Expertise in C ASPNET Ajax JavaScript Transact SQL Web Services WCF nHibernate Expertise in javascript frameworks preferably extjs (Sencha) and the NET wrapper Extnet Knowledge of HTML5 Knowledge of mobile application development (Android iOS) is a plus Experience with Microsoft patterns and practices ndash Composite Application Blocks Expertise in building secure and scalable internet facing web based enterprise class applications Nexiant requires preemployment testing of applicants background checks drug screening reference and resume verification Position located in Lake Forest CA No remote or relocation provided Nexiant is an Equal Opportunity Employer No phone calls or recruitersagencies |
