| SUMMARY Responsible under minimal supervision for delivering assigned project development deliverables including business requirementscope documentation design testing implementation and project management deliverables Requires extensive knowledge of business functions and related technology applications Position requires the availability and willingness to serve in an oncall rotation to provide night andor weekend systems support as needed SUMMARY Responsible under minimal supervision for delivering assigned project development deliverables including business requirementscope documentation design testing implementation and project management deliverables Requires extensive knowledge of business functions and related technology applications Position requires the availability and willingness to serve in an oncall rotation to provide night andor weekend systems support as needed ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) Analyze design develop test and document application solutions Understand and research business objectives of assigned projects Work independently on projects and follow through completion Work on multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to think logically critically and constructively about complex problems and propose solutions that address expressed needs Support numerous applications utilized by customers in all business areas of a corporation Work with business users other system analysts and developers to design develop and enhance application solutions and procedures Translate business requirements into technical specs for development purposes Document and conduct unit and system testing as it pertains to new applications and maintenance Implement solutions that follow application standards set by the company Integrate new applications solutions into the current environment Resolve hardwaresoftware interface issues define inputoutput definitions ensure integrity of the system integration Monitor for all application failures and performance degradations Conduct root cause analysis for all application failures Analyze and solve reported application issues Adapt to new technology solutions utilized by vendor application solutions Travel to technical conventions and seminars as needed Interact professionally with fellow employees clients and vendors REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelorrsquos degree 7+ years of BusinessSystem Analyst experience or software product development experience Strong individual problem solving and analytical abilities Good oral and written English communications skills Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior Ability to work with business community to gather requirements help in business process design and innovation Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems and to stay informed of new development technologies middot Skills sets and tools may include o Advanced user of Microsoft office products (Visio Excel Word Project) PLSQL proceduresfunctionspackages SQL scripting o Databases (OracleMySQL) o Working knowledge of Business Systems such as Point of Sale Retail Systems Corporate HR or Finance Systems Warehouse or Supply Chain DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience supporting end users Experience with JDA applications (Arthur Suite PMM Enterprise Planning Manugistics) Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus XML familiarity Experience with Business Intelligence Reporting and Development Tools Experience working in Fast Fashion Apparel Retail environmentCRIND |
