| Milford Hospital is seeking an individual to be responsible for the implementation and training of advanced clinical physician systems such as Dragon Voice Recognition Meditech EMR physician electronic signature and remote access systems Duties include creating and maintaining all training materials and documentation working with IT staff and clinicians to ensure compliance with CMS MedicareMedicaid Meaningful Use Objectives serving as contact point and providing clinical support to clinicians diagnose troubleshoot and resolve system issues and problems Job requirements include a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Health Care Computer Science or Management Information Systems (preferred) a sound understanding of clinical workflows current clinical best practice patient care initiatives and industry standards regarding patient safety a minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in a health care environment with experience in a clinical setting desirable computer system knowledge with a working knowledge of Meditech and Health Information System EMR an advanced understanding of computer operations hardware and software and excellent oral and written communication skills and problemsolving abilities are required Candidates must be team players who can work independently Milford Hospital is conveniently located on the scenic Connecticut shoreline minutes from major highways We offer competitive pay excellent flexible benefits free parking in a suburban setting and opportunities for growth |
