| For more than 50 years BioRad has been at the center of scientific discovery providing a broad range of innovative tools and services for clinical diagnostics and life science research The company is renowned among hospitals universities major research institutions biotechnology companies and pharmaceutical firms for its commitment to quality and customer service At BioRad you will participate in exciting new developments at the cutting edge of science and technology If you want to join a company of great minds doing extraordinary things then BioRad is the place for you ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The EIM (Enterprise Information Management) Solution Architect leads design development administration and realization activities contributing to BioRads information management objectives BioRads information management objectives include capabilities that Facilitate the collection delivery and reuse of master data objects across the enterprise Collect and share metadata Support delivery of information for business use Support adhoc information requests for business use Collect and publish data quality measurements Support data governance practices and processes The EIM Solution Architect is knowledgeable on industry best practices and relevant technologies for building and sustaining an Enterprise Data Management program The EIM Solution Architect is knowledgeable about technologies designs and architectures supporting the consolidation harmonization and publishing of Enterprise Master Data The EIM Solution Architect leverages state of the art tools and development techniques to collect and deliver data throughout the enterprise The EIM Solution Architect works with subject matter experts Basis Team Administrators Business Systems Analysts Data Architects System Administrators System Integrators and others across functional boundaries to develop and deliver Enterprise Information Management solutions The EIM Solution Architect participates in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions supporting the creation use and sharing of enterprise information The EIM Solution Architect works with various IT compliance and governance teams to ensure BioRad policies procedures and work instructions are followed during the execution of project activities EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE 7+ years systems development experience in a large international manufacturing company 3+ years Master Data Management implementation experience 3+ years SAP experience in 1 or more of the following SAP Data Services ECC 60 Business Objects Enterprise 3+ years administration experience supporting EIM platforms technologies Experience delivering enterprise services leveraging SOA is required Experience constructing enterprise data models and logical data models supporting MDM Experience developing and delivering Data Quality solutions supporting profilingcleansing is desired Experience delivering crosssystem data syndication strategies is desired Experience with Global Data Sync is desired Experience with legacy data migration from diverse repositories and technologies to a SAP environment Experience with Business Process Management technologies is desired SKILLS Solid analytical skills and a strong customer focus Business process design for managing Master Data throughout the lifecycle including data quality metadata and workflow technologies Proven expertise in developing master data solutions for consolidation harmonization and publishing Excellent time management and problem solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal businesstechnical teams and external consultants Ability to work across the organization in all business segments with the ability to address technical and nontechnical issues Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner lead working groups negotiate and create consensus Be an ambitious selfstarter and work well in pressure and ambiguous situations Must be capable of working independently in a fastpaced environment Ability to travel on average 30 including international with the ability to travel extensively as project needs require |
