| Position Summary The Web Developer is a handson technician responsible for providing webbased solutions including web applications content management systems and database structures to meet business requirements for Dean The Web Developer will Work with various teams both inside and outside Dean to determine business needs and potential solutions Coordinate and execute the design development and deployment of custom web applications Provide technical guidance to end users for updating website content Provide technical leadership and promotion of internal technologies and development standards Qualifications Required Bachelorrsquos degree in information technology computer science or a related field and 13 yearrsquos experience in information technology or equivalent work experience OR an Associatersquos Degree with 57 years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma one year of additional schooling andor training and 10 years of relevant work experience A portion of the above experience must be internetintranet administration including web application deployment and support Experience with web development software (preferably Adobe suite) SQL Server and SharePoint Experience with web site design HTML XML Active Server Pages VBScript JavaScript NET relational database design and database query protocols (SQL) Experience with content management systems (CMS) Experience with compatibility issues between different browsers and computing platforms Ability to contribute to all phases of application development (analysis design development testing implementation and support) Ability to clearly document features technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for technical work and job processes Ability to satisfy a large number and range of user requirements and skillsets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Ability to work independently and in a team environment while aligning with overall group strategies objectives and deliverables Excellent communication and organizational skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical customers and staff Ability to be a proactive and creative solution provider Ability to travel to other locations as needed Preferred 1 Healthcare lightweight boxes or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds Ability to hear and converse on the phone and in person Responsibilities Web Development Design plan and implement webbased forms and applications including visual appearance usability functionality and overall navigation within the larger system Write code as needed using the appropriate platform to create custom web applications and forms Create standard SharePoint sites and provide ongoing support for site changes Develop custom SharePoint elements including lists calculated columns and views Develop custom SharePoint workflows and other applications Develop custom pagessolutions as appropriate using a CMS (content management system) platform Develop technical documentation for project requirements system configurations specifications etc Provide enduser support for web sites and applications diagnose and fix bugs and problems Apply new technology media interactive research and emerging standards related to web and digital media Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and research potential use at Dean Monitor web traffic reports to determine usage and potential areas for improvement Actively contribute to corporate knowledge base by sharing information with other support teams Project Execution Meet with clinical and business teams to explain and advocate web solutions Meet with project stakeholdersowners to analyze needs and design the appropriate solution Propose solutions to problems and consider timeliness effectiveness and practicality in addressing needs Coordinate the contributions of other resources (IT DBA etc) to ensure project completion Maintain familiarity with other business systems at Dean to identify potential integrated or alternate solutions Establish
