| Description This position supports the operational demands of the airline by providing immediate systems and structural engineering support to the Line Maintenance organization Qualifications A BS degree in Mechanical or AeronauticalAerospace Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited collegeuniversity is a minimum requirement The position also requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational aircraft systems and structures problems on transport category aircraft and familiarity with Boeing AMM IPC FIM and SRM are highly desirable The successful candidate will possess well developed analytical problem solving planning organizational and computer skills (Word Excel and PowerPoint) as well as excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills Heshe will possess good interpersonal skills and work well independent of direct supervision and under pressure Candidates who apply for this position must be willing and able to accept shift work and to travel to support field maintenance operations LEVEL TO BE DETERMINED UPON QUALIFICATION AND BACKGROUND OF CANDIDATES This position currently in Tulsa will relocate to Dallas midyear 2013 Job Engineering Primary Location USOKTulsa Equal Opportunity Employer American Airlines is an Equal Opportunity Employer Work Schedule FullTime |
