| The National Center for Missing Exploited Children (NCMEC) is a private (501)(c)(3) nonprofit organization which was created in 1984 The mission of the organization is to serve as the nationrsquos resource on the issues of missing and sexually exploited children The organization provides information and resources to law enforcement parents children including child victims as well as other professionals NCMEC seeks a Business Analyst to gather requirements for new development projects and ongoing support of our information systems This position will work with clients to understand business requirements for system enhancements and be the point person for technical specifications of all new and ongoing application development projects Duties include but are not limited to Consult with clients to gather information about application needs objectives functions features and inputoutput requirements Develop business systems and technical requirements documents use case and flow diagrams integration and user acceptance testing system documentation and enduser manuals Perform gap analysis by comparing the product offering to the clientrsquos requirements Lead testing phases of all system releases collect feedback and help implement strategies to correct any errors Manage the development and maintenance of NCMEC systems documentation and technical guides Develop response guidelines for firsttier support of NCMECrsquos applications and systems Candidates should have at least four (4) years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst within a professional business team and proven history of project implementation success A Bachelorsrsquo degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is required Other qualifications include but are not limited to Experience and knowledge in performing testing of enterprise applications ndash manual and or automated using open source technologies such as Selenium Proven history and in depth knowledge in working with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Visio Selfdirected and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment with a keen interest towards working with opensource technologies Prior experience in working in an agile development environment Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources analyze and make recommendations for appropriate actions to the IT Director application development and systems administration teams Demonstrated experience and knowledge in systems development NCMEC offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package including paid time off employerfunded retirement contribution and optional 403b plans excellent health insurance coverage (medicalprescription dental and vision plans) professional development training opportunities parkingpublic transportation a great work environment and more Qualified candidates should send a cover letter and reacutesumeacute with salary requirements to Human Resources at careersncmecorg mailtocareersncmecorg For more information please visit our web site wwwmissingkidscom httpwwwmissingkidscom click on ldquoAbout Usrdquo |
