| NOTE THIS POSITION IS ONLY OPEN TO US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS AT THIS TIME Current Need The Interface Engineer functions as a technical interface lead for MAI product implementation testing and specific interface customization work for customers and new products Qualified candidates must be able to perform data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors during planning implementation and testing project phases The Interface Engineer provides technical expertise and support to the customer and internal resources related to the interface and affected MAI products They are responsible for developing solutions troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the interface code HL7 messages and product functionality MAI products are in mission critical areas of the hospital Therefore decisions must be made to assure maximum availability and functionality for the customer Position Description Product Implementation ndash 50 Serve as contact (sometimes acting as the sole primary customer contact or project manager) for the installation or upgrade of new hospital pharmacy material management and financial systems Serve as subject matter expert for programming implementation and testing of interfaces based on the specifications of the products being implemented Develop and deliver product integration requirements for client projects based on interface perspective Manage multiple complex implementations of multiple product installations and customizations with various healthcare systems and organizations on an individual basis oftentimes acting as project manager Responsible for key decisions using defined processes and procedures with relation to all assigned MAI projects Internal and External Training and Documentation ndash 20 Complete and present reviews of third party system specifications third party HL7 specifications and technical documentation to satisfy assigned project needs Training new and existing client base on McKesson interface applications Provide secondary product training through course of regular business Interface Programming and Customization ndash 10 Develop and implement complex interface mappings to meet specific customer requirement or workflow need Support of ThirdParty and Various OneOff Interface Applications ndash 10 Implement third party screen scrape scripting application within the requirements of MAI products Delivery of third tier application support for proprietary interface engine screen scrape scripting and various oneoff interface applications Support MAI Business Units as Subject Matter Experts ndash 5 Coordinate the MAI Project Managers and Account Executives to define interface specifications and custom solutions that meet the requirements of MAI customersrsquo pharmacy IS material management IS and hospital IS systems Drive application testing remotely or onsite via the McKesson Automation proprietary interface engine using defined processes Responsible for maintenance and continued support of legacy systems Other Duties as Assigned ndash 5 Qualifications Minimum Requirements Requires 45 years of programming experience 23 years of McKesson healthcare sofware application implementation and installation experience Additional Knowledge Skills Knowledge and experience with C C+ VB and scripting Education Bachelors degree in computer related field or
