Job Description
| Description of duties and responsibilities This position reports to the Manager of Application Development and is responsible for developing SAP Workflow solutions across all SAP Business Suite applications ndash ECC (SD MM PP PS FI CO HCM) and CRM as well as coordinating the migration of changes in the SAP landscape using Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM) Workflow Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Conducting interviews and workshops with business customers in close coordination with the SAP Business Process Analysts to gather SAP workflow functional requirements and develop functional and technical specifications Designing and modeling SAP workflow solutions leveraging Best Practices that will be used to meet business requirements helping to create and drive organizational adoption around best practice design principles Creating maintaining and administering SAP workflows using appropriate components of the SAP workflow toolset Developing and executing detailed workflow unit test plans Working with and leading the business customers during user acceptance Conducting unit integration and stress testing for application projects upgrades or maintenance and also developing and maintaining test plans Providing production support of implemented workflow functionality Developing clear documentation for completed products Change Control Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Coordinate the transportation of all change requests through the SAP ECC BI and CRM landscapes Categorizing approving and monitoring of change requests using Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM) to mitigate the risk of the change Acting as the gatekeeper for the SAP production environments to ensure changes are efficiently promptly and successfully implemented Responsible for the future development of the ChaRm solution Special knowledge skills and abilities required SAP Workflow development experience including ABAP Classes Methods Agent Determination Role resolution Binding Events Event Linkage and both asynchronous and synchronous tasks SAP Workflow Administration experience including performance tuning logically deleting a workflow workload analysis event tracing event simulation substitution and debuggingdiagnosis Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong organizational skills attention to detail Ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner meeting assigned deadlines Effective verbal and written communication skills Global travel as required for education conferences onsite projects and implementations Preferred Change management experience around the support and maintenance of SAP applications preferably using ChaRM Understanding of effective and efficient Change Management processes Experience with Solution Manager Education and experience required Bachelorrsquos degree or higher in Information Science Computer Science or related discipline (10 years relevant work related experience may be substituted for Bachelorrsquos degree) This position is available at two different career levels depending on experience education etc Level one 3 years SAP experience and 2 years proven SAP Workflow experience Level two 5 years SAP experience and 5 years proven SAP Workflow experience Preferred Strong business process knowledge EEO MFDV |
