| Senior Network Engineer An exciting opportunity currently exists in our Buena Park location to be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) for an experienced Senior Network Engineer This position performs LANWANWLAN maintenance design and engineering for the Amcorrsquos network environment Key Responsibilities include Provides levels two and above support remotely and onsite for AMCOR Americas IT network infrastructure Coordinates all LANWANWLAN operational activities with coworkers This includes but is not limited to loading software hardware and software maintenance and peripheral operations Designs and supports enterprise LANWANWLAN devices including performance monitoring to ensure optimum system utilization and availability Maintains established security requirements as defined by Amcor for all deployed networking hardware and software Develops and maintains accurate and professional documentation for LANWANWLAN Helps establish and maintain a disaster recovery plan for all LANWANWLAN environments Manages network components for VOIP infrastructure Performs after hours support as required and traveling required up to 20 of the time Performs other projects andor responsibilities as requested The right person will have Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or related field required Seven years experience in LANWANWLAN management and administration Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required Knowledge and understanding of TCPIP protocol WLAN survey strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and desktop application software Strong customer focus with a positive and professional approach in all duties This position requires the ability to demonstrate the following competencies Deep analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in high pressure situations and maintain professionalism Multitask and prioritize independently Demonstrate the following competencies teamwork and cooperation problem analysis and judgment planning and organizing accountability and execution builds trust leads change and adaptive resilience It is the continuing policy of the Company to provide equalopportunity employment to all coworkers and applicants without regards to race creed color sex religion nation origin citizenship age veteranmilitary status disability pregnancy genetics or any other status protected by federal or state law with regard to any term or condition of employment Principles Only Recruiters please do not contact this job poster |
