| Senior Software Quality Engineer Portland OR Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance team member to help us execute our Health Insurance Exchange efforts This is an opportunity to be involved in the monumental changes taking place in the US health insurance market as a result of the Patient Protection and Accountable Care Act (PPACA) Cambia is developing new insurance products that will be sold on government run Insurance Exchanges beginning October 2013 Bring your systems expertise to this role where you will Work as part of the Software Quality Assurance team which is passionate about product quality Work with many groups within IT and with the business on analysis design and development efforts to ensure highquality testable deliverables Solve challenging problems with cutting edge technology use creative skills to solve problems for users and plan design develop and execute automated and manual test cases and track defects Develop automated custom QA solutions using commercial software packages and open source tools Key qualifications and experience 6 years test engineering experience with two years of experience working on complex projects Experience diagnosing reporting tracking and resolving quality issues as well as developing and executing manual and automated test suites testing webbased enterprise applications and working in a variety of programming languages and environments Analyze both successes and failures for clues to improvement experiments and will try anything to find solutions Familiarity with QA tools and techniques (understanding of Agile development process is desired) bug tracking systems test design and execution Learn quickly when facing new problems a relentless and versatile learner desire to solve real problems for real users come up with a lot of new and unique ideas easily make connections among previously unrelated notions and tend to be seen as original and valueadded in brainstorming settings Knowledge of Selenium is desired Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field Qualified candidates will also have high productivity passion for quality assurance of enduser application willingness and ability to create and adapt to new and cutting edge technologies along with strong Automation skills Experience with SOAP UI is ideal though testing with Selenium or Rational is adequate In addition candidates must be able to Work at both detailed and abstract levels Perform a Multi browser testing of an application and launch new projects and follow through to completion Prioritize workloads and effectively participate in multiple projects and priorities Work cooperatively in a group to achieve common goals At Cambia we advocate for transforming the health care system You arenrsquot satisfied with the status quo and neither are we Were looking for individuals who are as passionate as we are about transforming the way people experience health care We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and tobaccofree workplace A drug screen and background check is required Cambiarsquos portfolio of companies spans health care information technology and software development retail health care health insurance plans that carry the Blue Cross and Blue Shield brands pharmacy benefit management life disability dental vision and other lines of protection alternative solutions to health care access and freestanding health and wellness solutions We have nearly a century of experience in developing and providing health solutions to serve our members We had our beginnings in the logging communities of the Pacific Northwest as innovators in helping workers afford health care That pioneering spirit has kept us at the forefront as we build new avenues to improve access to and quality of health care for the future |
